Czesc! I took an intensive course last July at Varia and it was a wonderful experience. The students were nice, the atmosphere of the class and all teachers were so helpful. They took us to a bar the first week, we had a pierogi cooking class and I still have contact to my classmates. Gosia, our teacher, spoke only in Polish which was exactly what I was looking for. Classes were dynamic and fun. In a few weeks I felt my polish improved a lot. I continued some classes online after the course was over. I'm looking forward to coming back to Krakow and keep improving such a wonderful language! Dziekuje bardzo!

Over the past few years, I've had the pleasure of studying Polish at Varia. The atmosphere at the school is very supportive, and the teachers are supportive and take a genuine interest in each student's improvement. Because of my studies at Varia, I am able to understand and converse in Polish at a much higher level than I would have thought was possible.

This is Jason from Hong Kong, I started to learn Polish from totally zero in Varia since October 2020 until now, it's one of my dream that study a foreign language abroad. My course is 3 week intensive and it does have a big improvement to me, all teachers, students here are cheerful, energetic and friendly. Over the last three years, I have spent the summers and one full academic year studying Polish with VARIA. My time there was a success, I have achieved a B2 level in the Polish language! Wow... what a challenge! My thanks go to VARIA and the way they challenged and supported my efforts through my struggle (a struggle only because Polish is VERY challenging for native English speakers! 😉). Good things are worth doing and VARIA's environment of small groups and one-on-one instruction maximized my skills in conversational Polish. The teachers are all professionals, that shows in their care for their students, they pushed me to succeed and I benefitted greatly from their efforts! Totally recommend VARIA! 😁

I am from America and was living in a small town outside of Kraków where nobody spoke English. I needed to learn the language to be able to get by, so I started researching the best language schools in and around the Kraków area. Varia immediately came up in my search. I chose Varia because, after research, I discovered they are a school that ONLY teaches Polish...so of course they must have the method and process of teaching down!
I took the A1.1 online, 2-week intensive course. My two instructors were Agnieszka and Kamila. Each instructor had her own style of teaching, but they were very thorough and patient, explained the answers to every question we asked, and they were very intuitive to if/when they needed to get “off track” slightly in order to go with the flow of things that might not have necessarily been on the page. They also went in-depth with explanations of WHY and HOW words and phrases came into existence for the Polish language.
If you are wanting to learn the basics of Polish encourage you to take the online, 2-week intensive course through Varia. You will be so happy you did, and you will have the booklet of material to keep for a lifetime. :)

Thanks to the school for the help in learning Polish, for patience and professionalism. I started from the scratch. For more than a year I have been actively attending individual lessons and every time I learn something new, if not in grammar, then in the peculiarities of speaking or Polish culture. I managed to overcome the language barrier and now I can easily communicate in different situations. I recommend it!

I had been in Varia a few years ago and participated in the language course. The staff is very friendly. The basics were taught in a very focused way and gave me a good insight into the Polish language. I plan to take the course for a longer time next year 😊

I just finished my A 1.1 course and I loved it. Our teacher Justyna was amazing. She made the lessons so fun and was so patient and helpful when we didn’t understand something. The school also offered lots of help outside of class. as soon as I passed my test I signed up for the A 1.2 class and I can’t wait to keep learning Polish here.

Once again I am learning Polish with Varia. This time I realized that it is good to be a woman - at least when it comes to the Polish language. My name is Andrea Mueller, and it’s conjugated by cases: Andrei, Andrea, Andrea, Andrea, Andrea, so you can almost still recognize it, and Mueller is what it is all the time - no change. I do, however, sympathize with men with a foreign language surname, such as Murphy. That surname changes to Murphy’ego, Murphy’emu, Murphy’ego, Murph’ym, and in the locative - oh wonder - even the apostrophe disappears - and it will just be Murphym. Polish is not easy 😊 and you can learn it only with Varia.

First of all, if I hadn't met this school, my life in Poland would be completely different. The teachers are very nice and helpful, and they always make sure to teach me what I'm missing. They also have excellent education and experience, so they give interesting information not only about the language, but also about Poland. The girls in the office are also always very supportive and always talk to the students. It's hard for me to find the words to express my gratitude. Thank you from the bottom of my heart!

I highly recommend Varia to learn Polish.
They are specialists that only teach Polish and nothing else. The atmosphere is very friendly. Teachers have a lot a experience and good sense of humor. I made progress fast with the impression that I did little work.
